/Though the TV series, The Good Wife, is now over, its impact on women's workwear will endure. The show's characters - Alicia, Diane, and Kalinda - exemplified how to dress professionally (in a traditionally conservative field, no less) through the lens of different yet all appropriate styles.

Key vibes that costume designer Daniel Lawson homed in on were strong, feminine, elegant, and powerful. He also relied on how the women felt in the clothing as the characters, notably Kalinda's signature boots. He, along with the leading women, showed us that workwear can be all of those things simultaneously.
