In thinking about minimalist style, I have been coming back to the notion of a well-curated wardrobe. It may not be a necessary aspect of minimalist style because surely one could amass many items that could fit the aesthetic. I tend to think that a person with minimalist style would more likely fall into the closet editor camp than the closet builder. Only purchasing and keeping items that truly matched their needs and style direction. I came across this routine that the late George Carlin delivered where he discusses "stuff". It is hilarious and provides some perspective about all the "stuff" we may deem as necessities. It inspired me to reconsider my stuff and move closer to a well-curated wardrobe.
